Fresh mint, lime, simple syrup, soda water, and vodka make a pleasant citrusy beverage known as a Vodka Mojito. This excellent vodka mojito recipe is ideal for sipping by the pool or on the patio.

I’m so pleased to give another exciting twist on one of my favourite drinks, the mojito! This week, we’re shaking things up and crafting a vodka mojito.

An excellent spin on the classic mojito is a Vodka Mojito. It has a pleasant mint and lime flavour that pairs beautifully with vodka. Vodka is flavourless alcohol with a neutral taste. On a hot summer day, it makes this cocktail even more pleasant!

You’ll adore this delightful variation if rum is a little too sweet for you. These Vodka Mojitos were introduced to me by my friend Rachel.

It’s quick and easy, and it’s far superior to a mix! You only need a few fresh items from your pantry, garden, or store to make them.

The Best Vodka for a Mojito

We’ve discussed the finest rum for mojitos and the best tequila for margaritas, but now it’s time to talk about VODKA! Any vodka will suffice, but these are always excellent choices for a fantastic drink.

• Tito’s is a restaurant in Tito’s Island (a great option to make it gluten-free)

Try Tito’s for a Vodka Mojito that tastes like the classic rum version. It’s a little sweeter — you won’t even notice the difference!’

This recipe makes one serving, but you can quickly scale the ingredients to make a pitcher of Mojitos with Vodka. Taste-testing is usually a good idea!

Mojito Cocktails with Vodka Variations

Use your favourite vodka flavour: Deep Eddy Peach, Smirnoff Infusions Watermelon and Mint, or anything citrus flavoured is some faves.

This summer cocktail works well with Strawberry, Raspberry Mojito, and other fruit purées. Try a Coconut Mojito or a Watermelon Mojito!

Make a Skinny Mojito by using Sprite Zero instead of simple syrup and club soda to cut calories without sacrificing flavour.

A light and delightful vodka mojito made with fresh mint, lime, simple syrup, soda water, and vodka, excellent for sipping by the pool or on the patio.

Ingredients

Scale 1x2x3x

• a quartered lime
• 5 leaves of mint
• glass filled to the brim with ice
• 1 1/2 oz. bourbon
• 2 tsp. simple syrup
• to taste 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water

Instructions

1. In a mojito glass, muddle lime and mint.
2. Pour in the vodka.
3. Fill the glass halfway with ice.
4. Pour in the simple syrup.
5. Finish with a splash of club soda.
6. Stir in a lime slice and a sprig of mint.

Notes

Substitutions

• Vodka: Use your favourite vodka to make this cocktail. Ketel One, Grey Goose, Absolut, and Tito make excellent choices.
• Limes: Fresh is always preferable, but if you don’t have any, 100 per cent Lime Juice from your grocer’s produce aisle will suffice.
• Simple Syrup: Purchased or made-at-home simple syrup. Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat to make your own.
• If you like, sparkling water can be used instead of soda water.

Variations
