Zupas Ultimate Grilled Cheese Recipe

  • 2 pieces of bread of your choosing (I just used a whole wheat sandwich bread)
  • This recipe calls for 1 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • There are two pieces of Muenster cheese.
  • Two slices of cheddar cheese.
  • Snippets of the roma tomato
  • Pesto, whether home-made or bought from the store, is called for in this recipe.


  1. A medium-sized pan sprayed with nonstick spray is ready for use.
  2. Butter the outside of the bread. Toast some bread and add some pesto on top.
  3. Then there’s a layer of Cheddar and tomato on top of the Muenster cheese.
  4. I like to use cheese as a barrier between the tomatoes and the bread in order to prevent soggy bread.
  5. Set a heated griddle or skillet on top of the sandwiched bread pieces. Covering the cheese with a lid can speed up the melting process.
  6. In around 2 to 4 minutes, the bread should have browned to your liking. Make sure the second side is golden brown by flipping the sandwich over.
  7. After a long wait, the meal is finally ready to be enjoyed!
