Machaca Tacos



  • 8 mini-tortillas made of flour.
  • 1 cup of shredded machaca beef jerky
  • 34 serrano chiles, chopped (adjust to taste),
  • 1 small onion, diced,
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Lime wedges and cilantro, chopped for serving.


  1. The chopped onion should be cooked until transparent in a pan.
  2. After a few minutes, add the beef jerky that has been shredded.
  3. Add the chopped tomato and serrano peppers after mixing. Until the flavors are blended, cook.
  4. In a microwave or a dry skillet, reheat the tortillas until hot.
  5. Build the tortillas: Onto each tortilla, spoon the machaca mixture. Serve with lime wedges and cilantro that have been chopped.
  6. Serve right away.
