Ingredients

Scale

To Make Fried Lemon Pepper Wings

  • 2.25 Pounds Wings (≈18 Flats and Drumettes)
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Salted Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • Lawry’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of baking powder, ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
  • Toss the wings to coat. Brush the basket with a little oil so that the wings do not stick and place the wings in the basket.
  • ** Make sure to use baking powder and NOT baking soda; the baking soda will make the wings inedible.
  • Choose Air Fry 400 ° F for 30 minutes, flip them in half (you can add 5 minutes if you want them more crisp).
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of the salted butter in a large saucepan, once the butter has melted add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and stir to combine.
  • Toss the wings with the butter and lemon sauce and sprinkle generously with lemon pepper seasoning all over the wings, making sure there is an even layer.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
