Making a good cup of hazelnut coffee isn’t difficult at all. The majority of the items and supplies you’ll need are probably already in your kitchen.

Ingredients

Hazelnut Coffee

  • Coffee beans of your choosing (light roast is usually preferred)
  • Unsalted hazelnuts are still in their shells.
  • My go-to is milk.
  • Favourite sweetener.

Hazelnut Coffee Brew

  • Favourite cup of coffee (whole beans or ground).
  • Hazelnuts in an emulsion form (natural if possible)
  • The cream is a kind of milk.
  • Sweetener of choice
  • Cinnamon-flavored whipped cream with Nutella spread (optional).

Instructions

Hazelnut Coffee

  1. Make a list of everything you’ll need.
  2. To begin, get your hands on some of your favourite whole-bean coffee. We recommend using a light roast coffee to bring out the flavour. It is also necessary to use unsalted hazelnuts since they may alter the taste of your coffee. Nuts should also be shelled so that they retain most of their flavour. Don’t worry; there will be no traces of skin in your beverage. It’s best to weigh out the beans and nuts individually. A two-to-one bean-to-nut ratio is ideal. For the best flavour, you may need some experimentation.
  3. Pulverize the hazelnuts and coffee together in a food processor or blender.
  4. Place the coffee beans and hazelnuts in a coffee grinder to grind them into a fine powder. The more coarse the beans are, the more flavorful the soaked nuts.
  5. Time to boil up a pot of coffee.
  6. This recipe may be made in whatever kind of brewer you happen to have on hand. However, if you want to get the most out of the hazelnut flavour in your coffee, we suggest using a French press. Make a cup of coffee using the grounds that have been added to the machine.
  7. Add milk or sugar as needed. (optional).
  8. If you choose, you may skip this step. Many individuals like their hazelnut coffee unsweetened. Sugar and milk might help make it a bit more bearable. When you’re ready, put some coffee in a cup and add either one of these.

  1. Preparation of Coffee: The first step is to prepare some coffee. While we prefer a medium roast, you are free to use whatever kind of coffee you choose. Alternatively, a traditional drip coffee machine may be used. At least you can make enough coffee for everyone, even if you have to try a few different kinds before you find the one you love.
  2. Coffee shops, supermarkets, and even internet stores carry Hazelnut Syrup. Trying a few out may be necessary before you locate the one that’s perfect for your situation. After brewing your coffee, add two tablespoons of hazelnut syrup to the bottom of your cup. Before serving, thoroughly mix in the coffee.
  3. Milk or cream may be added if you like your coffee to have a creamier, frothier texture. A sweetener may also be used as an alternative. Slowly but surely, add the sweetness. Too much sweetness is possible even with all-natural syrups, such as honey and maple syrup. It is possible to add a half-teaspoon to get the desired level of sweetness.
  4. It’s a great way to add some flavour to your morning cup of coffee. The first step is to brew four cups of your favourite coffee and enjoy them. Put 1/4 cup hazelnut syrup, 1 tbsp: sugar, and a dash of cinnamon in a big saucepan and simmer over medium heat.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and the Nutella. Whip it vigorously with a whisk to get a whipped cream-like texture. Before serving each cup of coffee, whisk up some whipped Nutella.

Notes

Hazelnut Coffee

  1. The health benefits of using almond milk instead of dairy milk can’t be overstated. This ingredient further enhances the nutty richness of the overall flavour. It will separate if you don’t heat the almond milk beforehand.
  2. The hazelnut flavour may be enhanced by drizzling some hazelnut essence into your coffee. Sweetening it with maple syrup is another option that doesn’t need a lot of sugar. In addition, it’s an enticing blend of the two flavours.
